Admission Criteria for S.C./S.T. Candidates

The following rules should strictly be maintained:

S.C. & S.T. candidates getting admission to Ist Year should have in the previous examination qualifying marks which are not lower by more than 25% from the marks obtained by the last candidate of the general category.  However in any case such a candidate obtaining marks lower than the marks as prescribed by the regulations of the University for Admission to the relevant course will not be eligible for admission

Candidates belonging to the S.C. or S.T. category taking up Honours, must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in subject or  elated subject at the previous qualifying examination.

22% RESERVED FOR S.C. CANDIDATES 6% SEATS RESERVED FOR S.T. CANDIDATES.  3% SEATS RESERVED FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED.
