The Asutosh College Training Centre was established in 1993 in the Premise of 10, Basanta Bose Road, Kol -26, adjacent to the main college Building. It is commonly called the Annexe Building. The former Principal Dr. Subhankar Chakravorty Pioneered  the view that the traditional syllabus oriented education should be supplemented by some career-oriented courses to cater to the modern day demands. Accordingly in January 1993, the first two units of ACTC was opened - these are Computer Training and Higher Services Training.

Presently the ACTC offers the following courses :

a) Preparatory Training for WBCS Examination.

b) Preparatory Training for School Service Commission Examinations.

c) Preparatory Training for NET, SLET (only 1^st paper in Arts & Commerce stream)

d) Career  Counselling (in collaboration with career for U)

e) Certificate course in Export-Import Management [ in association with EBDCI, an Export - 

     Import Promotional Company ]

f) One year Certificate Course in Management (Assisted by Peerless)

          i) One year Business Management (Affiliated to WBSCTE)

         ii) One year Marketing Management  (Affiliated to WBSCTE)

                  iii) One year Travel & Tourism Management

g) Diploma Course in Management of safety Engineering (Affiliated to WBSCTE)
